We had an amazing experience at Paheli Indian Cuisine in Wayne. You can truly taste the passion for Indian spices in every dish. The flavors felt deep, balanced, and memorable, especially with ingredients like Rajasthani Mathania mirch and black pepper adding such a beautiful touch. We started with the bhel, Lal Mirchi Paneer Chaap, and Gobi 65. Everything was flavorful, but the Gobi 65 was especially delicious—crispy, well-seasoned, and almost melt-in-the-mouth. For drinks, the mango passion-fruit lassi was creamy, refreshing, and a perfect balance with the bold spices. For the main course, we had Bhindi Masala and Anjeer Paneer. The Bhindi Masala was comforting and full of flavor, while the Anjeer Paneer was rich, unique, and absolutely delicious. The tandoori roti, naan, and garlic naan paired perfectly with everything.

Went with friends yesterday night for dinner, and it was a really good experience. 1st it was BYOB, they had plenty of seating, and host was actually intersted in welcoming you. Menu has typical indian dishes with some variations, but flavors were really well balanced and high quality. Their clay oven dishes (Paneer Tikka, Soya Chaap) was really amazing and for Entree we ordered mushroom-mattar and Dal Makhani that were really flavorful. Must try their dessert (flower pot and Halwa). We will certainly be back.

Great service and atmosphere. Food portions were generous and delicious. We enjoyed the naan, kebab chicken, chicken tiki masala. Definitely recommend ⭐️

Recently, we visited their sister restaurant Paheli after trying Praana earlier, where Uma (our server) had recommended this place—it had been on our wish list ever since. It was Bengali and Maithili new year and just like we follow the tradition back in India (means eating outside), we decided to come here with our little family. The restaurant is bigger than Praana and feels more like a fine dining place. The ambience looks nice with an Indian theme. Since it was a weekday, it was not very crowded, which was good. And surprisingly, Uma was our server again—she even recognized us What we ordered: *Lamb Pepper Fry (4.5/5): Usually this dish is served dry in most places, but here it came with a little gravy. immediately I ordered garlic naan with it, and it tasted really good together. Even though I prefer it dry, this was the best dish we had. *Tawa Fish Fry (3.5/5): It was basically fried tilapia. Tasted okay, nothing special. * Chef’s Special Masala Roast (Lamb): Many people seem to like this dish, but for me it was just average. The presentation was nice. I would give more stars if I could, one of the few Indian restaurants in the USA that has my heart. Outstanding service and an outstanding owner, who leads with heart. That reflects in the delicious food and a great ambience. Loved the appetizers with Samosa Chaat and Mini Kuchas being my favorite. Do not leave without trying the desserts (Rasmalia here is my favorite!). The server kindly served us the Pan Petha as well. This restaurant should be on everyone’s list to try!
